The Voigtländer Bessa-L was launched in 1999. It is a finderless rangefinder body with a Leica screw mount. The camera was introduced with two 39mm screw lenses, both very affordable but said to be from excellent quality. The Voigtländer Bessa-L was intended to be used with ultra wide lenses. The Voigtländer Bessa-L is a great addition to any photographers camera collection, true quality. By a lot of photographers it's being called "a affordable alternative" for Leica, as Leica lenses can be mounted and the quality is supurb.
